There are several options for patients and compounded eye medications.
The most comon items that we prepare are "fortified " antibiotic eye drops, and preservaive free solutions. Fortified drops are stronger than the usual antibiotics. Serveral patients cannot tolerate the preservatives in commercial eye preparations.
For some special cases, we have prepered injections that go directly into the eye. This type of therapy os only done by the physician, in the office.
