Dr. Tim Swager, PharmD
Pharmacist in Charge
Dr. Tim Swager brings decades of pharmacy experience and a deep commitment to personalized care to our Greenville, South Carolina location. A graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City, Dr. Swager completed his pharmacy degree in 1984 and has since built a diverse career across both hospital and community pharmacy settings.
Early in his career, Dr. Swager discovered a passion for compounding while working in the hospital environment, where he collaborated closely with physicians to develop customized solutions for complex patient needs. Over time, he transitioned primarily into community pharmacy, where he has gained extensive experience and found great fulfillment in the direct connection between prescribers, patients, and pharmacists. This collaborative, relationship-driven model is what he values most about working in a compounding setting.
Beyond the pharmacy, Dr. Swager has a strong personal interest in pharmacognosy and nutrition. He enjoys gardening and maintaining what he fondly describes as a “plant pharmacy” in his own yard, enriched with nitrogen captured by his small animals. His curiosity for natural therapeutics and his love of cultivating medicinal plants reflect his lifelong dedication to health, science, and personalized healing.
