Dr. Carmen Coy
Pharmacist in Charge
Dr. Carmen Coy serves as the Pharmacist in Charge at Pharmacy Innovations of Houston, bringing decades of diverse clinical experience and a lifelong passion for learning to her role. She earned her pharmacy degree in 1992 after studying pharmacology at Texas Southern University and completing earlier degrees in psychology and biology at Texas A&M University. Dr. Coy’s career extends well beyond traditional community pharmacy, with experience in hospital pediatric pharmacy, managed family practice and workers’ compensation pharmacy clinics, and overseeing home health infusion services across the Louisiana region. What she enjoys most about compounding pharmacy is the opportunity to learn something new every day, a mindset that continues to shape her patient focused approach. Outside the pharmacy, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, and reading with her book club, and she loves spending time outdoors on her 10 acre property in Fulshear, where she stays active working the land.
